OTHER  PROJECTS

Alongside my clinical work at SANVT. Psychology, I’m building long-term projects that reflect my passion for and commitment to trauma-informed, neurodivergence-affirming clinical practice and improved community access to evidence-based and high quality mental health resources. These projects aim to contribute to the wider body of psychologically-informed knowledge through research, inspire systemic reform, and make a tangible difference in the community.
This mission is inspired by lived experiences,
shaped by young people, and created for young people.

Riot + Bloom Collective™

A trauma-informed advocacy and creative platform amplifying lived experience, advocating for systemic change, and developing accessible, neurodivergent-friendly and trauma-informed tools and resources for the wider community.

Our work spans storytelling, policy advocacy, public education, and resource development, with the goal of making mental health systems more responsive, inclusive, and effective.

By bringing together lived experience voices, professional expertise, and creative approaches, we aim to bridge the gap between those affected by systemic failings and the decision-makers who can create meaningful change.

CEO Sleepout Fundraiser

A Riot + Bloom Collective Initiative. This cause is close to my heart.

Every night, 122 000 Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn't have to be that way!

This year I'm taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need.

For one night, I'll be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness.

If you're able to support, thank you. Every contribution goes towards real, practical help for people who need it.

Click below to find out more about Vinnie's Sleepout initiative and why I am participating.

Milk + Mischief

A Riot + Bloom Collective Initiative. Milk + Mischief is a story-based project designed to help children and the adults around them understand emotions, behaviour, and everyday challenges in a way that actually makes sense.

Built around Luna, Archie, and Annabelle, it takes real situations (big feelings, transitions, misunderstandings, tricky moments) and turns them into stories that help to explain what's happening underneath, not just what to do.

The aim is not to simplify or avoid complexity, but to make it accessible, so that both young + seasoned mischief-makers can recognise themselves in the stories and understand what the lovable characters of the M+M universe experience in a way that feels clear, relatable, and grounded.

Bloom Unfiltered

A Riot + Bloom Collective Initiative. Where the thinking happens out loud. Honest writing on psychology, neurodivergence, creativity, and what it actually feels like to be human.

Bloom Unfiltered is a blog focused on making sense of real-life experiences through a psychological lens.

It is where ideas are worked through in real time, not as finished answers, but as thinking in motion, breaking down patterns in behaviour, relationships, and emotional responses as they are happening, and connecting them back to clinical understanding.

CortexBloom™ Institute

A Riot + Bloom Collective Initiative. The CortexBloom™ Institute is the research, design, and systems arm of Riot + Bloom Collective.

The focus is on translating clinical thinking and real-world experience into practical formats, and on contributing to the broader scientific knowledge base on psychologically informed resources and their applications.

CortexBloom™ is currently in early development, functioning as a working space for developing and refining ideas, with a longer-term direction of exploring how these approaches could extend into digital tools, applications, and research collaboration.
